Daniel Metrikin Principal & EVP, Investments
Daniel Metrikin is a Principal and Executive Vice President, Investments at Stornoway. Daniel focuses on all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence, analysis of potential investment opportunities, and value enhancement of existing positions. He joined the Stornoway Team in January 2017, and has over a decade of experience working in credit market investing, primarily focused on distressed opportunities. Daniel's experiences have provided him a diverse knowledge base to execute across the lifetime of a distressed investment - from evaluation, to financial restructuring and operational enhancement, to realization. Prior to joining Stornoway, he was a Vice President at H.I.G. Bayside Capital in New York where he focused on the evaluation and execution of stressed and distressed credit opportunities. He previously worked at Oaktree Capital Management in Los Angeles, specializing in special situation and distress-for-control investing. He has also held positions at Gluskin Sheff & Associates and Houlihan Lokey.
Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree and concentrations in Finance and Accounting. He also holds an MBA from Stanford University. | |
